NO FILM FESTIVAL THIS YEAR! The Registrar screwed up our schedule, so students got no notice of these evening sessions when they signed up for the course.  We’ve figured out a work-around, but the FF will have to wait until 2021.

The Media and Visual Culture Studies and Sociology & Anthropology departments sponsor an Ethnographic Film Festival from 7-9pm Tueesday evenings during May Term in Gregory 161.  Each week, we will present one or two ethnographic films.  These films are free and open to the public.  SOAN/MVC 347 students are expected to attend at least 3 of the 4 programs.

Here are some of the films we have offered in recent years:
